What other main fields can electronics technicians work in other than the defense industry?
I want to go to school to study electronics but I have some concerns. My father works in the same field but his job requires him to have a high level clearance. If I were to graduate. I wouldn't be able to get in the same field being that I have bipolar disorder. I was wondering if there were any other major groups of employers that would hire electronics technicians other than the defense industry. Also I would like to know if they make as much money as those who are employed in the defense industry.
