USPS says my package was 'missent/misrouted'. Does this mean it was lost?
I mailed a package via USPS priority mail a few days ago- I checked track and confirm and it said the package was 'misrouted and missent'. WTF does that mean, delivered to the wrong address? I shipped a $500 antique, and required a signature. Did they just leave it someones doorstep?
What does 'missent' mean?
The message I got when i looked up the tacking number was :
"Your item was misrouted. The error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."
